[Synopsis]

Mariko, a 35‑year‑old freelance writer who has long convinced herself that “love and marriage can wait,” ends up spending a passionate night with Koki, the chef of a small restaurant she wandered into by chance. She intends to leave it as a one‑night memory—until fate brings them together again at one of her interview assignments. As Mariko finds herself drawn to the quiet comfort that seems to flow between them, she also struggles with the scars of past relationships that left her deeply hurt, and with the pressure of balancing romance with her ambitions for career advancement.
