Since ancient times, people have endured harsh nature and enjoyed beautiful nature as they lived.

[Synopsis]

One of the oldest shrines still existing in central Japan. Since ancient times, seasonal rituals have been performed here, with the deer offering ceremony being particularly unique. This documentary follows the ongoing seasonal festivals while also recreating a mysterious ritual that vanished 600 years ago. For three winter months, the living god and its messenger would seclude themselves in a cave to perform rituals. When the living god emerged onto the earth in spring, 75 deer were offered. What do deer represent to the people who live here? This film delves into the faith in nature that has shaped this land since ancient times.
