[Synopsis]

Middle-aged detective Fukama has a bad habit of going violent when enraged. Although this quirk served his unorthodox approach to cleaning up the streets, repeated scandals - and even a death - have led to his being reprimanded and sent overseas for treatment.

A few years later, before his treatment is complete, Fukama is recalled to Japan. Once back, he is shocked to find his town has undergone a disturbing makeover. The somewhat vulgar drinking dives he frequented with friends have all been shut down, and brazen vigilante groups made up of "concerned citizens" patrol the streets to keep the "undesirable elements" in line. When Fukama discovers the truth behind this so-called safe and secure town, a long-forgotten flame of anger begins to flicker within him.
