[Synopsis]
Kaede, an 11-year-old girl, suddenly collapsed at school and was diagnosed with "acute myeloid leukemia.” For young Kaede, the anti-cancer drug treatment and radiation therapy are nothing short of grueling, but her only emotional support is Yoshi, who is fighting the same disease in the bed next to her.
At the same time, Kengo, who runs an IT company, loses his beloved daughter to leukemia. As a business owner, Kengo has no choice but to prioritize his work, but the loss of his daughter destroys his happy family. Having lost everything, the only thing he can be proud of in his life is that he is now a bone marrow donor for a girl he never knew, with whom he had only corresponded through a single letter.
A man tries his best to live while losing someone irreplaceable, and a girl grows up while suffering from a disease. They search for each other while leading different lives.
