A teenage girl born and raised as the daughter of a yakuza confronts the adults and
friends around her and questions her own circumstances.
[Synopsis]
Yuko, a high school girl raised in a single-parent household in a small rural town, was uncomfortable with having to make decisions or dealing with dramatic events, and above all, she felt most at ease when she could be “normal.” However, her father, who raised her alone, was far from “ordinary” in that he made his living as a yakuza. The gang members surrounding her father were kind and likable, but the yakuza business was falling behind the times, and with income significantly reduced, the survival of the gang was in jeopardy. Despite this, Yuko managed to enjoy her daily life to some extent. However, a minor incident began to shatter her sense of “ordinary.”
